I guess the Logitech K750 solar-powered wireless keyboard is going out of production, thus the clearance sales?Īfter sleeping on it, I decided to get a different model – though I still sourced a Logitech product.Īfter a quick google/research, I was confused as to two related Logitech products – the Logitech K400 and the Logitech K400R wireless keyboard. While $60 is not a large sum, I’m still annoyed that I will end up paying about 50% more than this Officework’s clearance price. My option was either to source this K750 keyboard from elsewhere – and the cheapest I can source locally is around $20 more than that advertised by Officeworks. The store advised me that the K750 were available in store at 3 different locations – Lewisham, Alexandria and West Ryde, none of these store locations are convenient for me to save this $20.

I was a little annoyed at this ‘bait advertising’, but I couldn’t be bothered going through the Trade Practices Act legislation for a $35 item. And the sales staff then tried to upsell me to a more expensive product. This store didn’t have this item in stock, and as it is an in-store clearance, I can’t order this product from their website. I had abandoned the idea of using my bluetooth Logitech Mini-Dinovo keyboard on my RPi, after spending fruitless hours trying to get the generic BT dongle to work on my RPi. Last night, after work, I popped into my local Officeworks store after I saw an advertisment for the solar-powered wireless Logitech K750 keyboard for $35, for my RPi setup.
